- go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/ime/install.mspx (opens in new window)
- Download the "Japanese – with Language Pack" file (you will be downloading the 5.2 MB file called "jamodo.exe")
- Simply run the file, and then reboot your system.
